New Khambatki Tunnel मुळे खांबटकी घाटातील धोकादायक वळणं टाळता येणार असून
प्रवासाचा वेळ सुमारे 45 मिनिटांवरून फक्त 7 मिनिटांपर्यंत कमी होणार आहे.

सध्या टनेलचा एक मार्ग trial basis वर सुरू असून,
NHAI अधिकाऱ्यांच्या माहितीनुसार दोन्ही मार्ग जून महिन्यापर्यंत वाहतुकीसाठी खुले होणार आहेत.

हा व्हिडिओ पूर्णपणे प्रत्यक्ष स्थळावरून घेतलेल्या फुटेजवर आधारित आहे.

The New Khambatki Tunnel on the Pune–Satara Highway is set to change travel forever.

Khambatki Ghat has been known as one of the most dangerous stretches due to sharp curves, steep slopes and frequent road accidents. With the New Khambatki Tunnel project, travel time will reduce from nearly 45 minutes to just 7 minutes.

In this video, I show you the on-ground trial run experience of the New Khambatki Tunnel, including:
• Tunnel lighting and ventilation
• Safety systems inside the tunnel
• Exit from tunnel to viaduct bridge
• Sharp turn and steep slope on viaduct with safety measures
• Overall driving experience during trial run

Currently, the left-side tunnel is open on trial basis and as per NHAI officials, both tunnels will be fully operational by June.

This video is based on real on-ground footage captured during the trial run.
