Blanton Museum of Art director Simone Wicha and Blanton curator Veronica Roberts take a behind-the-scenes look at the history of Ellsworth Kelly's monumental masterpiece "Austin."
About "Kelly &…" Lunchtime Lecture Series
Launched in conjunction with the opening of Ellsworth Kelly’s “Austin” in 2018, this informal series explores interesting facets of Kelly’s practice, from his service in the Ghost Army during World War II to his postcard collages, a little-known, fascinating body of work.
All talks are held on Fridays at 12 noon in the Smith Building Capitol Room and are free with museum admission. Visitors are welcome to bring their lunch to the lecture.
