EASY Split Pea Soup /DUMP & GO Slow Cooker COZY WW Soup Recipe / Weight Watchers/Calories & Macros. This slow cooker split pea and ham soup is easy to make and low in points but filling and delicious! It takes just a few minutes of prep and then you just dump all the ingredients in, set it and forget it! Weight Watchers Points & Calories/Macros and additional nutritional information Included.

Ingredients:
8 oz Hatfield Traditional ham steak
*16 oz Cooked ham(what I factored for the hambone, which is optional)
16 oz Green split peas, rinsed
4 cups Fat free chicken broth
2 cups Water
1 large Uncooked sweet onion, chopped
1 cup Uncooked carrots, chopped
1 cup Uncooked celery, chopped
1 Tbsp Minced garlic
1⁄2 tsp Dried sage
1⁄2 tsp Dried thyme
1⁄2 tsp Dried rosemary
2 Bay leaves
Black pepper-to taste
Add all ingredients to your slow cooker, I used a 7 qt crockpot. Cover and cook on LOW for 7-9 hours or until the peas are tender.
**I’m adding a ham bone to mine which is completely optional- I couldn’t calculate points for a ham bone so I am calculating 16 oz cooked ham to cover the points. That is half of the weight of the bone. This soup would be 1 WW pt if you just use the ham steak and 0 if you don't use any ham. Adding 1-2 Tbsp of liquid smoke is a great alternative to the ham if you want to keep this meat free!
