RIP Glen Travis Campbell (April 22, 1936 – August 8, 2017)
This is a remix I assembled about 5 years ago using Kristal Audio Engine with various rough mixes edited with Sound Forge from the "Unsurpassed Masters"CD's. I didn't think all the parts would sync together smoothly, but amazingly they all did. About the only thing I would redo now is leaving in a little bit of the background chatter and not looping the Honeys background vocals (which end early unlike the backing track) a few more times. (I blame Ron Furmanek's remixes and Mark Linett's stereo remix of Pet Sounds for that influence!).
After all these years, I still think this is Brian's greatest outside production. It's just a shame it wasn't a huge hit in 1965. I think my remix beats any mono version on CD out there. Play loud and enjoy!
(PS: My video fades early around 2:18, my fault. But never mind that, just close your eyes and enjoy the music!)
