So tonight, I will be talking to agents about the City of St. John's in Canada, which is the closest city in the whole of North America to Ireland. It's just a four and a half hour flight, direct with WestJet, from Dublin Airport into St. Johns, so Canada is closer than you think and that's very much my message tonight. On a trip to St. John's, visitors can expect to do a whole host of amazing things. It's a real wildlife destination, real outdoorsy, foody place. It's a little bit like Reyljavik, that's how we're trying to position it. At the moment it's got a real feel of San Francisco about it, and there's lots of Irish links. If you're there between May, June, and July-August, you'll be able to see 10,000 humpback whales feed off of our shores every summer, and then if you're there a little bit earlier in the season we have the icebergs that are floating down the Iceberg Alley it's called, which basically is the stretch of water, the stretch of the Atlantic Ocean that runs from Greenland all the way down the side of Eastern Canada and into the Caribbean. So icebergs, humpback whales, incredible dining, incredible hiking, lots of outdoor activities, and only a four and a half hour flight from Ireland.
