no one is willing to have in this noisy world. She shares her life
story in all its honesty, from being a seventh-grade kid filming
videos on her mom’s phone to growing up surrounded by
expectations to lead a “stable life” rather than a life that genuinely
made her happy. These things slowly pulled her away from who
she really was. While she narrated this story, she mentions about
how easy it is to stop listening to yourself when everyone else
seems to know what’s “right” for you.

What makes her talk special is how real it feels. She talks about
confusion, comparison, feeling invisible in a room full of people,
and the constant noise we use to distract ourselves from music to
social media, just to avoid sitting with our own thoughts. Instead
of covering her confusion and mistakes with her big numbers or
how successful she was now, she admits them. Especially how
she thought talking more would make her stronger, until she
learned that listening is what truly builds connection.

And then she paused, and just looked at the room full of people,
who were there to listen and not just hear. Her moments of
silence were just as powerful as her words. They gently reminded
us how uncomfortable being quiet can be, and how rarely we truly
listen to others or to ourselves. By the end of her speech, it felt
like she wasn’t giving advice, but simply sharing something she
learned the hard way: sometimes the kindest thing we can do is
slow down, stay present, and listen.
