How do we gain the knowledge and wisdom of God? In this video, I share the powerful truth I discovered when I first began studying Scripture: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” (Proverbs 1:7). This foundational principle taught me that we cannot truly understand God’s wisdom until we develop a deep reverence and respect for Him.
I explain why the fear of the Lord is the starting point for spiritual growth and how it positions our hearts to receive the knowledge God wants to reveal. But gaining wisdom doesn’t happen passively—we must actively seek it. When we pursue God intentionally, He opens our eyes to His truth.
I also share that although God can give wisdom through teachers, books, sermons, people, and life experiences, you must always confirm that it aligns with the Bible. God’s truth never contradicts His Word—and the only way to tell if something is from Him or from the enemy is to compare it with Scripture.
