The real rivals to the Tesla Model 3 are finally starting to arrive. First up is this car - the Hyundai Ioniq 5. Only offered in Australia with the 77.4kWh long-range battery, but with a choice of RWD or dual-motor AWD, the Ioniq 5 is styled like nothing else on the road. We like it. Do you?
Hyundai might split Ioniq off in future as its own sub-brand, and more Ioniq vehicles are coming sharing the Ioniq 5 e-GMP platform.
The Ioniq 5 competes with the Tesla Model 3, Polestar 2, Volvo XC40 Recharge and the forthcoming Kia EV6 with which it shares its architecture.
