Who’s ready for a South Korean EV head-to-head?!

We’ve brought together the Hyundai IONIQ 5 and the Kia EV6 to help show you which is the right car for you. These two share a whole load of parts, but we can assure you there are advantages and disadvantages to each!

Let’s start with a look at how they perform. The Hyundai comes with a choice of two battery packs, a 58kWh and a 73kWh. It’ll give you a range of between 240 - 300 miles, and can deliver power between 170hp - 305hp, depending on which version you choose. Its price starts from £37,000.

Then we have the Kia. It only comes with one choice of battery, a 77kWh, and provides a range between 300 - 328 miles. It also has a higher power output than the Hyundai, delivering between 226hp - 331hp. The starting price is a bit steeper, though, coming in at £41,000.
