Flint City Council member Eric Mays is addressing rumors he was drunk during last night’s council meeting.
Mays was removed from the virtual meeting for being ruled out of order after calling council president Kate Fields a dictator.
Mays who called into the meeting from Ingham County tells Mid-Michigan NOW he had a cocktail during the meeting but wasn’t intoxicated.
