Here are my thoughts now on TTC’s brand new Line 6 Finch West LRT, being very close to having an opening date announced. I decided to make this video in advance of an opening date as I was only passing through the area, plus I live far from the line and I won’t have much time to visit it regularly. Besides for me, it’s not as meaningful as Line 5 (which I’ll make a separate video reacting to the official opening date announcement for that line). This description will be updated when Line 6 officially has an opening date.
To elaborate: the Finch West LRT was handed over to TTC operations last week and is beginning their 30-day revenue service demonstration this Saturday. This is the very last step they need to complete before it opens to the public as it essentially simulates what service would exactly look like (albeit without passengers). I also plan to walk the entire route on separate days (likely after opening).
