Sold at www.variousstorenl.com, this Akai GXC-65D Invert-o-Matic Cassette Deck.
Unit was briefly tested mechanically and functioned fine.
The cassette deck turned on normally, the lights came on and the counter worked.
Playback functioned fine. The sound was nice to listen to.
Fast rewind and rewind also fine, although sometimes a bit slow at the end of the tape.
A special feature of this machine is the wonderful reverse system where the entire tape is reversed via a special mechanism. This also worked perfectly. Recording was not checked.
