This machine has been briefly tested for function, and is mechanically only partially functional.
The device turns on and fast forward and rewind function properly.
When playing only the highest speed (19cm/s.) functions normally. At 9.5cm/s. and 4.75cm/s. The tape runs much too slow and also completely stops rotating.
The sound at 19cm/s. normally sounds good. However, the potentiometers do creak when operated.
Also, only one channel works. From the other channel the VU-meter stays maximal up, even when the machine has no power. This seems like a mechanical problem.
