System Overview

The Model 4010 is part of the Tinius Olsen Evotech Series of hardness testing systems that offer continuous, accurate operation. The load cell, closed loop, force control system uses a Brinell digital scanner (CCD camera) for automatic indent measurement and offers simultaneous conversion to Rockwell, Vickers and Leeb rebound scales.

The easy-to-use 6.5” full color industrial touch screen displays results and statistics, providing connectivity via USB, LAN, W-LAN, RS232 data output.

The EvoTech 4010 is equipped with Tinius Olsen’s Horizon material testing software platform that improves overall manufacturing operations by simplifying data capture, analysis and reporting to provide more intuitive testing analysis and actionable intelligence.

Applications

Widely used in the automotive and aerospace industries, the Evotech 4010 is ideal for hardness testing on a variety of metals and alloys including castings, forgings, flat and cylindrical work pieces as well as for sample and quality control testing.
