This long form video uses almost all the tools in the shop as I restore this 1971 Wilton Bullet Vise back to its former glory! Of course I use the Bridgeport and Metal Lathe, but also my new, huge, Dake Press (and the Baby Dake), the oxy acetylene torch, and the anvil.
I felt the patented Wilson Bullet vise design needed one small change; a more bullet like appearance.
In this video I show how to free a frozen vise handle, how to remove the knobs on a vise handle, how to make a new vise handle, and the ever challenging: how to remove the pins that hold the Wilton Vise lead screw nut in (I made a new tool for that).
