Disney Australia collaborated with three inspiring role models to celebrate their stories as the kick-off to the ‘Dream Big, Princess’ campaign. The campaign aims to celebrate all the Princess characters at their active, determined, confident and empowered best, highlighting the positive impact these unforgettable stories have had on a generation of Australian women, whose inner princess is still dreaming.

Former mining engineer, marathon runner and burns survivor Turia Pitt joins award-winning Indigenous actress Miranda Tapsell and author, founder and editor-in-chief of Renegade Collective magazine, Lisa Messenger, as they share their stories of achievement to inspire parents and their children to Dream Big.

As part of the commitment to Dreaming Big Disney enlisted the talents and creativity of a small group of Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) film school graduates to help create three unique stories, with the group filming and editing a 90 second campaign video, which has launched across Disney’s AU/NZ social media channels.

Following the initial campaign launch, Disney encouraged social media users to share how they have dreamt big using #IDareToDreamBig, to inspire a community of parents to focus on empowering their daughters to understand that anything is possible. Thanks to everyone who shared their unique journeys and dreams with us, here are a few of our favourites.
