Dhaka Chicken Tikka Recipe | Easy Restaurant-Style Tikka at Home
Ingredients:
400g boneless chicken
½ cup yogurt
1½ tbsp hot sauce
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp fresh cream
1 tbsp chili flakes
1 tsp garam masala
1½ tsp salt (or as needed)
1 tsp coriander powder
¼ tsp cumin powder
½ tsp oregano
1 tsp chili powder
3 tbsp gram flour
2 tbsp corn flour
2 tbsp sesame seeds
Preparation:
• In a bowl, add all the ingredients for marination and mix well.
• Add chicken pieces and coat them thoroughly with the marinade.
• Set aside to marinate for a few minutes.
• Skewer 4-5 marinated chicken pieces on each skewer.
Cooking:
• Heat oil in a griller or pan over medium flame.
• Place skewers and cook until char marks appear.
• Lower the heat slightly and cook chicken from all sides until tender. Do not overcook as it may dry the chicken.
Air Fryer Method:
• Preheat the air fryer to 190°C.
• Air fry the marinated chicken for 9 minutes, turning halfway through.
• Spray some oil, cook until golden, and serve hot.
