Today I'm cooking some more recipes that are Amish/ Mennonite style! I hope you enjoy them! They're very easy to make! I will list them below:

Poppy Seed Chicken and Rice :
2 lbs chicken, fully cooked
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 -8 oz sour cream
Cut fully cooked chicken into small bite sized pieces. Mix soup and sour cream . Add the chicken and place in a baking dish.
Next:
1/2 cup butter, Melted
1 1/2 c Crackers, crushed
1 T Poppy Seeds .
Mix together and sprinkle over chicken mixture. Cook Rice of choice, make sure it's not too bland. Maybe add some salt to the Chicken mixture. Then put rice in the bottom of a dish and put chicken mixture on top. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. serves 6-8

7 Layer Salad
Dressing:
1 cup Miracle Whip
1 T sugar
1/2 tsp vinegar
Mix together

Ingredients :
Lettuce, Celery, Onion, Hardboiled Eggs, Bacon crumbled , Frozen Peas, Shredded Cheddar Cheese.

Caramel Layer Cake:
1 butter pecan cake mix ( mix according to box directions)
Bake in two 9 inch pans
CARAMEL SAUCE :
In a saucepan melt 1/4 cup butter. Then add 1 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 cup sour cream. Heat until almost boiling. Cool
FILLING:
1 -8 oz. cream cheese. 2 T instant vanilla pudding. 1 -16 oz Cool Whip. Mix then refrigerate until ready to use.
Layer and frost with filling, then drizzle caramel sauce on top and let run down the sides. Enjoy!

Chocolate Whoopie Pies:
4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 c shortening
1 c cocoa
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 c thick sour milk ( add some vinegar to milk and it will become sour. )
1 c water
Cream together the sugar, salt, shortening, vanilla, and eggs . Sift or mix together flour, soda and cocoa ( I spooned the flour into the measuring cup)
Add this to the first mixture alternately with water and milk. Mix
bake at 375-400 for 5-7 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE.
FILLING:
2 egg whites (beat until peaks form ) then add:
1 1/2 cup crisco
T vanilla
2 T flour
2 T Milk
4 c Powdered Sugar
