I was able to manage getting away for a day a few weeks after my trip to Haida Gwaii. The temperature and weather was still really good, so I decided for one last short camp out before the winter sets in. Searching out the map I found some recreation sites that had a few pictures of the area. Without ever being out there, I went for it and found a great site to stay. The amount of wild mushrooms and size of them was very unexpected.
Thanks for watching! I'm sure this is a busy spot in the area during the summer months. Would still be a good spot to try kayaking in the future. There is a lot of great locations close to where I live to kayak, so it's something I would like to try for activity and exercise. I will keep my eye out for one in the spring I think.
