Interjections (विस्मयादिबोधक)
Definitions: An Interjection is a word used to express sudden and strong feelings or emotions. It is followed by an exclamation mark (!) or a comma (,).
Examples
Hurrah! We won the match.
Hush! The baby is asleep.
Ouch! I am stung by a bee.
Hey, call the man!
Hi! I am Gopal Nair.
Wow, You look beautiful!
Yippee! We won the race.
Stop! Wear a helmet.
Note: Interjections are not grammatically related to the other words in a sentence.
