यह मंदिर माँ भ्रामरी देवी (दुर्गा माँ का एक स्वरूप) को समर्पित है और अपनी प्राचीन मान्यता, अखंड ज्योति तथा भक्तों की मनोकामनाएँ पूर्ण करने की शक्ति के लिए जाना जाता है। यहाँ प्रतिदिन बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु दर्शन के लिए आते हैं। यह स्थान माता रानी के भक्तों के लिए अत्यंत शांत, पवित्र और ऊर्जावान माना जाता है।

✔ मंदिर में बनभौरी धाम (बरवाला, हिसार – हरियाणा) से लाई गई अखंड ज्योति दिन-रात जलती रहती है
✔ परिसर में महाकाली, हनुमान जी, शिव परिवार और भैरो बाबा की प्रतिमाएँ स्थापित हैं
✔ मंदिर सुबह से देर शाम तक दर्शन के लिए खुला रहता है (अनुमानित समय)

📜 पौराणिक कथा (संक्षेप में)

मान्यता है कि अरुणासुर नामक दैत्य ने ब्रह्मा जी से वरदान पाया कि उसे न दो पैरों वाला मनुष्य मार सके और न चार पैरों वाला पशु। वरदान पाकर उसने पृथ्वी पर आतंक फैला दिया।

तब माँ दुर्गा ने बनभौरी (छह पैरों वाले भवरे) का रूप धारण कर अरुणासुर का वध किया। तभी से माँ के इस स्वरूप को माँ बनभौरी / भ्रामरी देवी कहा जाता है और उनकी पूजा की जाती है।

In this video, we take you on a divine visit to the highly miraculous and famous Banbhori Mata Mandir (Maa Bhramari Devi Siddhpeeth) located in Adarsh Nagar, Sector 13, Chandigarh.

This sacred temple is dedicated to Maa Bhramari Devi (a powerful form of Goddess Durga) and is renowned for its ancient spiritual significance, the continuously burning Akhand Jyoti, and its belief in fulfilling devotees’ wishes. Every day, a large number of devotees visit the temple for darshan. For devotees of Mata Rani, this place is considered extremely peaceful, pure, and spiritually energizing.

🛕 Key Features of the Temple

✔ The Akhand Jyoti, brought from Banbhori Dham (Barwala, Hisar – Haryana), burns continuously day and night.
✔ Idols of Maha Kali, Lord Hanuman, Lord Shiva’s family, and Bhairo Baba are also installed in the temple premises.
✔ The temple remains open for darshan from morning till late evening (approximate timings).

📜 Mythological Story (Brief)

According to legend, a demon named Arunasur received a boon from Lord Brahma that he could not be killed by any two-legged human or four-legged animal. After obtaining this boon, Arunasur spread terror across the Earth.

Seeing this devastation, Goddess Durga took the form of Banbhori (a six-legged bumblebee) and destroyed Arunasur. Since then, this divine form of the Goddess has been worshipped as Maa Banbhori / Maa Bhramari Devi.
