The first set that we have is a Specially Offensive Weakness Policy set. The EVs on this set are just max speed max special attack 4 in HP with a timid nature. I'm running a weakness Policy with this set because, like we said before, Togekiss has several weaknesses and naturally high defenses, making it one of the best candidates for weakness Policy. The reason why we aren’t running any defensive EVs is because this Set is meant to be a Dynamax Set with the option to still follow me if the situation is needed. Follow me is one of the strongest moves in VGC20 and not many Pokemon have access to Follow me this generation so if you can use it, use it. We also have Serene Grace here as the ability for situations where we are not able to Dynamax and need to rely on 60 percent air slash flinches and 20 percent burns with heat wave.

This next set is actually the same set that 2014 World Champion Sejun Park used in the World Champion invitation back in December of 2019. This set focuses on a more supportive Togekiss that is a bit more tanky while also having some Special Attack investment to still pack a punch. With the Babiri Berry here, Togekiss is able to cut the damage taken by Steel, which is one of the most common weaknesses in the metagame for togekiss due to Duraludon and Excadrill. Sejun also decided to opt for Super Luck over Serene Grace fore this set because of the lack of Air Slash present. Super Luck makes it so your chance to crit is ⅛ instead of 1/16. The biggest highlight of this set would be the presence of the move Yawn, which is very effective for taking out other Dynamax Pokemon. Putting them to sleep after a turn is a good alternative to the less common and more unreliable move Sleep Powder.

This next set takes the Tank from the previous set and pushes it to the limit. We have a Bold Togekiss with a Sitrus Berry for additional healing. EVs on this set focuses mainly on HP and Defense with a splash of speed. We are using Serene Grace here for potential Air Slash flinches and the usual Follow Me. The different move here is Life Dew. Now I’ve been experimenting with Life Dew on Showdown and I’m a little baffled as to why more people aren’t using it. Life Dew is a move that heals both yourself and your ally Pokemon for 25 percent health… the same percentage as Sitrus Berry. Albeit, I know that it’s less health than Heal Pulse and Recover, but it’s the best option that Togekiss has access to if it wants a reliable healing move. Also with this much Defensive EVs and a Defensive nature, you might even be out healing the damage you’re opponent is dealing.
