Saying no... decluttering... getting clear on what brings joy and value into your life... these are some of the pillars of minimalism, and heck yes they play straight into your relationship with food!
In this "vlog" style video, I share how minimalism positively impacted my process with Psycho-Spiritual Wellness — aka, making peace with food without ever dieting again. I'm not saying that you need to be a minimalist in order to heal your relationship with food. In fact, if maximalism brings you joy, then it's important for you! If minimalism sounds appealing to you, it could be your intuition speaking to you. The more we reduce the clutter in our physical and mental space, the more clarity we have to channel our best effort towards stopping compulsive eating. For me, these two went hand in hand. The more I Stop-Drop-and-Feel'ed, the more I couldn't stand the clutter in my life. The closer I got to my authentic emotions (due to the SDF!) the more clarity I got around what I want to keep in my life, what I want to add more of, and what I wanted to get rid of. Minimalism is a great asset if it calls to you.
