This video is a short presentation on random processes and Markov chains. It starts with a quick recap of random variables and then explains how random processes describe systems that change over time.
I also give a simple example using a health model (healthy, sick, dead) to show how absorbing states work, and briefly talk about where Markov chains are used in real life, such as weather prediction and health modelling.
