Vlog 205: Lawn Mowing; Lawn Mower Repair; Baby Wombat Rescue & Bunnings.

Описание: This is what I got up to this week on my property in rural Victoria, Australia.

I begin this week by returning to the back woods to process trees for firewood. This is an ongoing project and is also an important part of the way we manage our woodlands for the benefit of diversity and fire safety. We also get around to replacing the damaged blade on the John Deere ride-on mower. It's a simple enough job but one which often defeats me due to lack of strength. I may look into a solution to this problem to enable me to be more self-sufficient. On his was into town Will discovers an orphaned wombat, another roadkill victim, which he transports to the local vet for safe-keeping. Back home, I set about attempting to mow all the lawns before storms move in. When I can, it's nice to do them all in one go as the property looks really nice when it's kempt in this way! The Rambling Rector is looking really good right now and I'm delighted to share it with you. Finally, I head into town to run a few errands, many of which are Christmas related. I love the festive season so it was a nice outing for me and the beginnings of a really exciting month ahead!
