Hochkönig region feels like mini Dolomites with many possible lines, couloirs and special features. Like line #1 skiing from cave through window into open slope. This year there was less snow and lines like this one exist (with more snow this would probably be filled in). But at the same time lines we skied year before are not skiable*. For the second one we ascended a couloir towards Schneeklammkopf till we had enough time to return to the car without headlamp. Some steep turns inside couloir and powder lower down😊
