UK Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Bill: Matilda Curtis (BEIS) co-drafter of the bill

Описание: Long-awaited UK Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers bill has been introduced to the Parliament by the UK Department of Business and Trade (former BEIS) on Tuesday 25 April.

Matilda Curtis (BEIS) was actively involved in drafting the legislative proposal and we have agreed to have an express-analysis of this paradigmatic set of rules aiming to regulate competition in the digital economy.

In this interview we have discussed the main substantive and procedural elements of the proposal, focusing on some potentially thorny issues.

The Digital Markets Research Hub is an independent academic initiative aiming at scrutinising the functioning of competition/regulation in digital markets.
