Bell sequence: Bell rings until gates rise.
Horn setting: Horn zone.
Signal on the left: A Safetran base, a Safetran gate mechanism with RECO LED gate lights and 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20" lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs.
Signal on the right: A Safetran base, a Safetran gate mechanism with RECO LED gate lights, 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20" lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs and a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell.
After hearing the Mile 84 Yale Sub detector go off, I headed towards Sumas mountain to see what was approaching. As I pulled up to the Beharrell Road crossing, I saw headlights and ditchlights in the distance. So, I got out and set up my camera with around 30 seconds to spare. Here we see what I believe is CN U711 passing through with a nice Dash 9 pair. The leading Dash 9 (CN 2587) is currently sitting at the Wabtec plant in Fort Worth, TX awaiting rebuild into an AC44C6M. Glad I caught it when I did.
Since my first video of this crossing in 2020, there haven't been any changes to this crossing. The original gate arms and bell sting hang on.
