On December 22nd, I've decided to take a 2 hour drive to the small town of Lomas del Sur and Los Sauces to film the only fully functional railroad crossing outside of Guadalajara that Ferromex owns. I had to wait for about two hours before a train could actually come here. I'm pretty glad these signals aren't as vandalized as other crossings here that FXE has installed, and a few of them not having their bells working, so it's cool to see the Siemens E-Bell actually working here although quiet.

Crossing is on the FXE Linea 1 (Line 1).

Signal on the right: 1 pair of 12x24" Safetran lights with Dialight Low Wattage LEDs, Siemens with unprinted FXE logos gate mechanism, and unknown clamp style base.

Signal on the left: 1 pair of 12x24" Safetran lights with Dialight Low Wattage LEDs, Siemens with unprinted FXE logos gate mechanism, unknown clamp style base, and high-tone Siemens electronic bell.

This crossing may not be that interesting to you, but it's always great to see a fully active crossing in Mexico, so I'm definitely glad I got to film here! These signals were installed in 2018 by Ferromex after replacing older signals installed in the early 2010s that were in super poor condition, so FXE decided to install these. The only change that happened here really is that the gatelights disappeared sometime between 2019 and 2021 since people like stealing and vandalized working signals. These signals have remained active for almost five years, and hopefully, they remain that way for a while longer.
