The Convent at Gibraltar; an Exploration

Описание: The Convent at Gibraltar is the Governors official residence. Once per year there is an open day where guests are invited for a tour of the convent. Here is my brief explanation of touring this lovely building and grounds. I also had the pleasure of meeting the Vice Admiral Sir David George Steel, KBE, KStJ, DL, the current governor of Gibraltar, that was very exciting!

The convent is built next to a Franciscan monastery dating back to 1471. It's rich history just like much of Gibraltar is well preserved and intriguing to the history inclined.
