Описание: The Core 4 – Session 1
This program is designed for complete beginners with smovey. It is a basic routine that lasts 10 minutes in total. This is recommended to do EVERYDAY for 10 minutes first thing EVERY MORNING to activate the reflex zones in the palm of your hand sending vibrations throughout the upper part of the body and reaching the brain. Smovey was invented by Johann Salzwimmer , an Austrian Tennis player who has Parkinson’s and these exercise are designed to specifically help people with neurological conditions

1. Warm up - This is the basic starting move which warms up the body. Hold the smovey firmly in your hand with the thumb resting on the green of the smovey. This gives a little more control which is needed further down the line when exercises get more advanced. Swing the smoveys nice and steady and NOT banging the balls of either end as to not disturb the flow of the vibrations. This is only at the start of the exercise and for all future moves, it doesn’t matter if the balls hit off each other as the vibrations will of already travelled through your arms by the time your finished the warm up.
SWING THE SMOVEY WITH BOTH ARMS FOR 30 TIMES
2. KRIS CROSS – Cross over both smoveys alternating one hand crossing the other. Have the right-hand cross over the left, bring back and then cross below the left hand. Keep the smoveys at a lower angle. Each move is one smovey cross above and below = 60 crossings altogether. The aim is to cross the smoveys as close to each other as possible without banging into each other. This exercise helps with balance and coordination and it stimulates the right and left side of the brain while crossing over. Keep them lower for the 1st set and you can increase angle for the 2nd set and it gets heavier as you increase the position

3​NATURAL SWING MOVEMENT Have each arm swinging the smovey ONE AT A TIME but having each smoveys constantly moving. As this is still warming up, you can bring the smovey just above shoulder length. SWING EACH ARM 30 TIMES

4 GOLF SWING – Hold smoveys with hands facing outwards and swing smoveys in the same direction rocking from one side to the other. It’s the objective of this exercise to get the balls banging on each side. You can swing your hips and bend your knees more with this exercise. This is fabulous for anybody suffering with repetitive strain injury and really releases tensions in the shoulders and back of neck. SWING EACH SIDE 30 TIMES
These 4 exercises will take you 4 to 5 minutes and REPEAT ALL SAME MOVES AGAIN. But go a little higher with the swinging movements as the higher you go, the higher the resistance. So the higher you go, the heavier it gets but if it gets too heavy or you get tired, just reduce the angle which reduces the weight. In the 2nd round, your body is warmed up with vibrations travelling through your upper body so you will be looser than the first round. For the 2nd round do BIGGER SWINGS and BIGGER MOVEMENTS than first round. Try and push yourself a little bit more every day ONLY if you feel able for it. It you are feeling it is sore or painful, reduce down to the minimum resistance .

When your finished your second round, bring them back to the warm up exercise and warm down for one minute. This brings down the heart rate again and lets the body know your almost finished your exercises. At this stage, take both smoveys in your hand and place them on your tummy, rocking them from one side to the other. This will create vibrations and stimulate the digestive system and unblock any blockages that are there. It is extremely common for people with neurological conditions to experience bad bowel movements and IBS and by rocking the tummy with the smoveys, the vibrations will reduce the pain and get your bowels moving again.

After 1 minute massaging the tummy, bring the smoveys up to the chest and hold both on top of your chest with your arms crossed over them for support. Take very deep breaths in through the nose and out of the mouth, again, deep breaths in through the nose and out of your mouth. Close your eyes and rock over and back , side to side sending the vibrations into your heart and chest. This is fantastic to have 2 minutes’ mindfulness for yourself to just “be” yourself. This is a great opportunity to clear the mind of any clutter or worries, even for a few minutes of everyday. This is a wonderful aid to help people with anxiety or depression, it takes some practise but once you feel the benefits of this wonderful exercise, you will make time for longer sessions for yourself.

Please do these exercises along with me if you wish and please note that there is no music or background noise. That is to concentrate on the vibrations going through the body as Napoleon Hill said “Energy goes where focus flows”.
