Описание: A megaphone is used to increase the intensity of the sound so that the sound produced is louder. When we drag a needle across a rough surface as shown, the vibrating needle causes the air around it to vibrate and produces the sound that we hear. When we attach a megaphone to the needle and then drag it across the surface as shown, the megaphone causes a larger amount of air to vibrate as it has a large surface area and the sound produced is louder.
