Easy Turkey and Biscuits ~ Leftover Turkey One Pot Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups of cooked cubed/ shredded turkey
3/4 cup diced onions
2-3 cups frozen vegetables
1 1/2 cup turkey broth
1 cup milk
1/4 cup flour
4 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. sour cream
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tbsp. fresh chopped parsley or 1 tsp. dried parsley
1 tsp. chives
1 can of Pillsbury Grands Southern Homestyle biscuits
salt and black pepper
melted butter
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
In a medium heat oven proof skillet add butter and chopped onions.
Cook and stir for 3-5 minutes, add salt, black pepper and poultry
seasoning. Cook and stir for one minute.
Add flour, cook and stir for one minute.
Add broth, turn heat up to medium high to bring to a boil.
Cook and stir until thickened.
Add milk, cook and stir until comes to a simmer.
Add parsley, chives and vegetables. Cook and stir for until combined.
Turn off heat, add sour cream and shredded turkey. Stir to combine.
Place biscuits on top and brush with melted butter.
Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until biscuits are done and golden brown.
Enjoy.
