At TEDxLimassol we are searching for the next refute in small and large things: In the universe and subatomic particles. In our societies and in our bodies. In our behavior, attitudes and perceptions. In our mental, physical and personal capabilities. Proving everything wrong is always the right thing to do.

Dr. Natasha Vita-More is a designer, author and Professor at University of Advancing Technology. Called an “early adapter of revolutionary changes” (Wired magazine) and a “role model for superlongevity” (Village Voice), Natasha is an expert in the field of the emerging technology and future narratives.

Her pioneering whole body prosthesis “Primo Posthuman” prototype with networked identify received international recognition and helped to established the field of human enhancement. Headlined on Studio 360, she has exhibited at National Centre for Contemporary Arts, Brooks Memorial Museum, Institute of Contemporary Art, Women In Video, United States Film Festival, and “Evolution Haute Couture: Art and Science in the Post-Biological Age”.

Vita-More’s writings have been published in numerous books and academic journals. She co-edited is a co-author of The Transhumanist Reader: Classical and Contemporary Essays on the Science, Technology, and Philosophy of the Human Future, and has been featured in over twenty-four televised documentaries.
