What if feeling better didn’t require fixing, analyzing, or changing your emotions?
This guided exercise pairs with this week’s newsletter, “Ever Feel Like a Box of 64 Crayons?” In it, I share a moment when someone asked how I was doing and my response surprised them. Instead of saying fine, okay or meh, I said I felt like a box of 64 crayons — a little bit of everything, not neatly organized. More like crayons in a bucket. Messy… and yet contained. And somehow, that actually felt okay.

When we stop trying to soften, change, or analyze our feelings and instead allow them to exist together, something surprising can happen: a sense of ease begins to emerge.... naturally. No forcing. No fixing. No figuring out.
In this guided exercise, I offer a taste of this gentle, body-oriented process so you can feel a little more comfortable being uncomfortable. A little more ease, even if there's some worry. A little more awake and alive, even in the midst of heavy, sluggish exhaustion.
If this exercise resonates with you, imagine what it might feel like to live more and more from that inner sense of steady, okay-ness. This is a skill that develops and strengthens over time, and I’d love to support you in this process.
