The easiest Munro in Scotland.-Ben Chonzie.
Area Perth & Kinross
Start of walk -Invergeldie ( free layby parking) for approx 15 cars.
Walk : 7.75 miles/12.5km
Ascent 712m
The route heads from Glen Ledknock and is an easy track starting from Invergeldie to follow along the Invergeldie burn up to approx 700m. Then look out for a stone cairn taking the peat track off to the left to head up the flanks of Ben Chonzie.
There are a few false summits and it's a long broad ridge to the stone shelter and summit of Ben Chonzie at 931m.
The views are outstanding across Glen Almond to Ben Lawers, Ben More and Ben Vorlich and over to Loch Turret.
This route is a linear out and back and poses no difficulties.
