In an audio message to News9, Hasina questioned the legitimacy of elections being held without the Awami League, accusing Yunus of staging a “mock election” to legitimise illegal power. Claiming that at least 50 percent of voters back the Awami League, Hasina alleged vote manipulation, financial irregularities, misuse of Grameen Bank funds and said past student protests were part of a planned move to oust her government.
