Описание: In the spring of 2003, BNSF was still regularly running freight over Raton Pass. I managed to catch a southbound (railroad west) with manned helpers climbing the 3% grade over the pass. A chase ensued from just south of Trinidad, Colorado to Watrous, NM, a distance of more than 100 miles. Along the way we caught the eastbound Southwest Chief passing a set of semaphores near Wagon Mound.
