On June 19th & 20th of 1999 we visited the BNSF Chillicothe Subdivision in Illinois. Stops were made at Toluca, Chillicothe, Monica, Williamsfield, & Dahinda. Santa Fe power was still frequent at this time though BN & BNSF power was becoming more prominent. In Edelstein we caught a southbound UP freight along the former C&NW Peoria Subdivision with Union Pacific & Southern Pacific power. UP & C&NW power also was seen along the transcon on a UP trackage rights train.
