Dr Daniel Diemers has been involved in technology for decades. During his studies, his focus was on understanding how digital is transforming society and economy. During his PhD, Diemers researched whether trust can be developed in a completely virtual community. He also has experience in running his own startups, but eventually he shifted his career in the consulting direction. Nowadays, Diemers is a member of the Blockchain Taskforce of the Swiss Federal Council and he provides consulting services throughout Europe and the Middle East, primarily in the financial sector.
