After getting his MA at the ETH Zürich in engineering, Christian Schaub began his career as a consultant in various corporations and banks. Three years later, Christian decided to get more involved in the decision-making process and joined an IT company. These experiences running a business eventually led him to his own endeavors. Apart from being an entrepreneur and co-founder, today Christian Schaub is an active investor and business angel in young companies. Christian has also engaged as a trainer and coach in multiple startups and companies for more than twenty years through programs such as Venturelab and InnoSwiss.


The team behind Redbiotec believes in the importance of bacteria and its effectiveness in treatments of certain diseases, such as tumors. The result of such treatments goes far beyond what most pharma or biotech companies have so far developed. In Redbiotec’s program, bacteria, used as a natural weapon against tumors, is modified or engineered in order to make it potent for treating diseases.
