In this video, we prepared and installed the D17A1 head on our 2001 Honda civic. To prepare the head we installed the thermostat housing, thermostat, cam seals, camshaft, rocker arm assembly, intake manifold, and the fuel rail with fuel injectors that we rebuilt. After preparing the head, we installed it onto the engine block and torqued the head bolts in sequence in accordance with the Haynes Manual.
