June Update - Garden Progress & Path Building | Summer Heat at Gamekeeper’s Cottage

Описание: Welcome to episode 40 of Gamekeeper's Cottage Diaries.

In this #vlog , I take a quick look around the garden during a mid-summer visit, sharing a few updates and small jobs done despite the soaring temperatures here in the UK.

🌿 Here’s what’s included:
– A visit to the orchard area, where the raspberry bush is thriving, but the apricot tree is showing signs of dieback
– A check-in on the back door planters and the woodland planter, now flowering with Serbian bellflower
– Progress on the garden path, with 1.7m fully dug out, filled with sub-base, and compacted – albeit slowly due to the heatwave
– A glance at both the new hedge planting and the existing mature hedge, showing healthy summer growth

Work has been slower than usual thanks to the unseasonably hot weather, but it’s all part of gardening through the seasons.
