Описание: Debbie Deane (aka “Little Miss Righteous” on her record label) made a few other records in the mid 60’s but never charted. “Cry Behind The Daisies” never charted either, but The Jaynetts, did have a big hit 3 years ago when “Sally, Go ’Round the Roses” hit #2 in 1963. (It was kept out of the #1 spot for 2 weeks by Bobby Vinton’s “Blue Velvet”)

Dancers: Rog (with his Motif tie) and Carolyn rate the 2 songs with Judy Michaud adding up the scores (1967 Swing Dance Contest Winner), while the kids slow dance to the first song and do the “Temptation Walk” and other fast dances to the second. Bandstand regulars in this clip include: 0:59 Steve Schreiner, 3:39 Lori Montgomery, 4:07 Peggy Waggoner, 4:30 June Strode, and 6:03 Danny McClain.

It’s nice to know that after 10 years, even Dick Clark forgets which goes first, the low or high rated record (it’s always the low rated one) and then he just gives up and moves on. Good for you Dick!

…..And if you are staying home tonight, you have a choice on TV between 2 old shows or 2 new ones. On ABC you can watch “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet” in its 14th and final season followed by “The Donna Reed Show” in its 8th and also final season. Over on NBC you can watch “Flipper” in its 2nd season (tonight Bud and Flipper thwart the efforts of illegal lobster poachers in “The Lobster Trap”), followed by “I Dream of Jeannie” in its 1st season (tonight Tony picks a bad time to force Jeannie to promise not to help him with magic as he is kidnapped by Chinese spies in “Jeannie and the Kidnap Caper”)….Of course if you only have 1 TV, your parents will probably watch “The Jackie Gleason Show” on CBS, in which case you may as well just go out tonight.
