Delma Palma has more than a decade of architectural and urban design experience, including leadership positions with the New York City Housing Authority and a stint with Empire State Development, the state’s economic development corporation.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Palma recently relocated to the Twin Cities, where she joined Minneapolis-based LSE Architects as principal and market leader for Housing and Private Development.
In her new role with LSE, Palma works with teams across the firm to, among other things, “advance design excellence in affordable, senior and mixed-use housing projects locally and nationally,” according to a press release.
In this interview, Palma talks about her background in urban design and architecture, affordable housing challenges in the Twin Cities and beyond, and other topics.
