Nimba Patra Rai is one of Odisha’s most traditional and health-rich recipes, prepared using tender neem leaves and aromatic mustard paste. Though slightly bitter, this dish is cherished for its detoxifying and immunity-boosting properties. Often cooked during seasonal changes, it reflects the wisdom of traditional Odia cuisine where food is both medicine and flavour.
ingredients:
• neem leaves
• small chopped potato & brinjal
• chopped onion,basic spices
• mustard paste with onion, garlic,red chilli
• urad dal mixture (Badi),salt&water.
• chopped tomato
