After the monolithic weight of the last album, “wen jalè jalè gunala”, Alice emerges into this new soundscape still shadowed by black metal's solemn fires, yet luminous with a renewed delicacy, as though each sound had been rinsed in silver light. “nendindalnen” is, in many ways, a descent into softness, but not as a frail concept since its strength lies in its evanescence, in its refusal to anchor itself fully in any singular form.

Here, the atmosphere breathes wider, its edges blurred by electronic mist and neoclassical whispers. The black metal core remains, but now it shimmers beneath translucent veils of post rock tenderness, bitpop glimmers, and glamorous piano motifs that seem to remember ancient hymns. Guitars no longer claw at the void, instead they trace arcs of melancholy through its emptiness, while percussion recedes into a less intrusive temper, as if the listener were seated within the very mechanism of Alice's imagination, hearing its delicate machinery hum.

The first track delivers a continuation of a dream once dreamt, where a melodic line resurfaces from an earlier album, refracted and distorted by time. It seems as a memory returning as music, the past not merely quoted but haunted. Then, the second track arrives as revelation, vast, texturally rich, filled with compositional daring that never dissolves into indulgence. This piece, by sheer balance of scope and intimacy, stands among Alice's finest creations, where sound behaves as a living entity, expanding and contracting with human fragility. Each influence dissolves into the other, until the listener no longer hears genres but moods from nostalgia to solitude, from rapture to regret. It is an art of transitions, of blurring instead of blending, where structure itself seems to fade.
