Stretching Landing Gear and Engine Upgrade

Описание: Today I continue working on the airplane project I started a couple of weeks ago.

The plane gets some massive upgrades in this video like the 100hp engine that will replace the existing 49hp engine that came in the plane. Also, some massive gear leg extensions to improve all-round takeoff and landing performance.

Here are some reasons why I went with this 583 Rotax snowmobile engine instead of its very similar aircraft-certified "cousin" the 582 Blue/Grey head engine. Or even a more modern 4stroke engine like a Yamaha Phazer or Apex now becoming more popular in Experimental/Ultralight aircraft:

1) This engine will have 80-100hp when installed in the aircraft while the 582 puts out a max of 65hp with no additional weight
2) The cost of this engine, even after being rebuilt completely is still half the price of a used 582
3) The option to use the existing gearbox, electric start, and Ducati ignition system that came with the plane in the 503 engine
4) While it is certainly not cheaper than a 4-stroke to run or maintain, it is lighter and much less complex making it a great option

This Aircraft is a 2000 SkyRaider 1 built from a kit originally, it is designed as a smaller single-seat version or the very popular Kitfox
