Week 70 was a bit of a blur — a haze of planning, purchasing supplies, and then replanning everything again. A lot of this week happened off camera, but it was still necessary progress.
I picked up some very expensive wiring for the dryer outlet that I may or may not end up needing (time will tell), and Vayla made plenty of trips to Home Depot with me along the way. One big win was finally sealing the hole in the basement that led to under the porch — a spot that had been funneling cold air straight into the foyer all winter.
I spent a lot of time planning the plumbing for the downstairs bathroom, bought supplies, and did a bit of hands-on work adjusting the clawfoot tub feet transitions. I also found and painted a light fixture for the bathroom’s slanted ceiling.
It doesn’t look like much on screen, but this was another week of working through cold temperatures, making decisions, and laying groundwork. I’m glad I was able to keep things moving forward.
