As someone who has spent nearly 15 years traveling weekly for work, I’ve seen firsthand how even small changes in airline policies can spark big reactions from passengers.
In this conversation, Anita and I break down what Southwest changed, why customers feel so strongly about airline policies, and what companies in any industry can learn when rolling out changes that affect loyal customers.
We also talk about the broader business lesson: when companies change policies that customers have come to expect, how they communicate those changes can matter just as much as the change itself.
